We would have healed Babylon v When I would have healed Israel
5
1. The Car Loaded With Explosives — False Systems Loaded With Hidden Destruction
The vehicle packed with incendiary devices symbolizes apostate systems carrying hidden spiritual destruction.
Scripture says:
“Babylon the great is fallen… and is become the habitation of devils…”
— Revelation 18:2
Just as the car appeared ordinary from outside but carried destruction within, false religion often appears respectable while hiding corruption.
Paul reminds believers:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal…”
— 2 Corinthians 10:4
The true church is loaded not with bombs, but with truth, prayer, faith, and the Holy Spirit.
Babylon is loaded with deception; Zion is loaded with divine power.
2. The Portland Club — Babylon’s Wine and Social Luxury
The historic social club and restaurant represent the luxurious ease and intoxication of spiritual Babylon.
Revelation 18 describes merchants, luxury, traffic, and moral intoxication.
The “club” symbolizes worldly alliances—religion united with political and economic power.
“All nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
— Revelation 14:8
Jericho parallel is powerful:
Jericho was cursed never to rise again (Joshua 6:26).
Babylon likewise will fall never to rise again (Revelation 18:21).
“Made safe” without repentance is false security.
3. Bomb Squads — Secret Agencies and the War Against Truth
Historically, Protestants often interpreted Jesuit counter-reformation efforts as opposition to Protestant truth. Ellen G. White wrote about persecution and religious oppression, but i take care not to assign every modern event directly to a specific secret order.
The spiritual lesson is still valid:
Truth is opposed.
God’s people are watched.
Faithfulness is labeled extremism.
Elijah was called “he that troubleth Israel” (1 Kings 18:17).
Christ was treated as dangerous.
The remnant will also be misrepresented.
“Yea, and all that will live godly… shall suffer persecution.”
— 2 Timothy 3:12
4. The Driver — Christ, Truth, and the French Revolution Parallel
The fallen driver i liken him with truth cast down in the streets:
“their dead bodies shall lie in the street…”
— Revelation 11:8
This fits the French Revolution application in The Great Controversy, where Scripture was publicly rejected and truth seemed slain—but rose again.
Christ Himself is:
“the way, the truth, and the life”
— John 14:6
Truth may appear buried, but resurrection follows.
5. Fire — Purification and the Latter Rain
The burning car represents crisis and purification.
Dry bones must receive breath (Ezekiel 37).
The church must not remain dead structure—it must receive Holy Spirit fire.
Not strange fire, but Pentecostal fire.
“He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.”
— Matthew 3:11
The final loud cry will be carried by people on fire with truth.
6. Portland Storm Parallel — Testimonies Vol. 1
The “storm through windows” from Ellen White’s early experience mirrors end-time shaking.
Many pray only when crisis comes.
Many vow only during storms.
But when the storm passes, vows are forgotten.
This reflects the final crisis before probation closes.

PORTLAND WARNING: BABYLON’S CLUB, JERICHO’S FALL, AND THE FINAL CRISIS
A shocking event in Portland, Oregon has stirred prophetic reflection. A vehicle loaded with improvised explosive devices crashed into a historic 135-year-old social club, igniting flames and exposing hidden destruction.
To the watchman, this is more than news—it is a solemn symbol.
Babylon is loaded with hidden corruption. Outward beauty conceals inward destruction. Revelation 18 warns of a fallen system intoxicated with wealth, deception, and spiritual fornication.
The Portland club mirrors Babylon’s luxurious city—filled with wine, merchants, and false security.
Like Jericho, cursed never to rise again, Babylon also shall fall and shall be found no more at all.
The failed detonation reminds us: Satan’s plans are many, but God still restrains total destruction.
Truth is called dangerous. Faithful believers are labeled extremists, cults, and troublemakers.
Elijah was hunted. Christ was rejected. The remnant church will be watched, traced, and opposed.
But God calls His people not to hide in caves.
Come out of her, My people.
The dry bones must receive fire from heaven. The church must awaken. The final loud cry must sound.
This is no time for compromise.
Babylon’s restaurant cannot be our table.
Jericho’s walls must not be rebuilt.
The world stands in the valley of decision.
Who is on the Lord’s side?

Closing Scripture
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve…”
— Joshua 24:15
The signs are speaking.
The watchmen must not sleep.
JERICHO SURROUNDED: GOD’S PEOPLE LOADED WITH HEAVEN’S POWER
The car loaded with explosives in the Portland incident can be viewed prophetically in a different and deeper light—not as Babylon’s weapon, but as a symbol of God’s final remnant church filled with the power of heaven, moving under divine commission against spiritual Jericho.
Ancient Jericho stood as a proud fortified city opposing the progress of God’s covenant people. Its walls represented rebellion, false worship, and resistance against divine truth. In these last days, spiritual Babylon has become the modern Jericho—built on pride, luxury, false religion, and human security.
God’s people are not loaded with carnal weapons, but with the weapons of our warfare:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:4
The “loaded car” represents the church filled with prayer, faith, truth, righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Like Israel compassing Jericho, the remnant movement surrounds Babylon with the final warning message of Revelation 14 and Revelation 18.
The club in Portland represents Babylon’s luxurious stronghold—the wine of false doctrine, worldly alliances, and spiritual intoxication. It is the place where kings and merchants unite against truth.
But Jericho must fall.
“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.”
— Hebrews 11:30
The driver represents Christ leading His people—the Captain of the Lord’s host. Truth appears rejected and cast down, yet Christ still leads the final march.
The fire that followed symbolizes the latter rain and final purification. Dry bones must live again. The church must not remain asleep. The Holy Spirit must ignite the remnant.
The bomb squad symbolizes secret opposition to truth—those working quietly to stop the advance of the gospel. Like Elijah, God’s faithful are watched, traced, and called dangerous. Yet truth cannot be permanently silenced.
Rome calls the faithful extremists. The world calls them cults. But heaven calls them saints.
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
— Revelation 14:12
The warning is clear: cursed is the man who rebuilds Jericho. Babylon cannot be repaired. It must fall.
The world is in the valley of decision.
The church must not hide in caves.
The final march has begun.
Shout, for the Lord hath given you the city.
