CURRENT NEWS: “YOUR CLIMATE IMPACT DOESN’T END WHEN YOU DIE”
The recent Associated Press report published by Yahoo News presents the rising trend of “green burials,” “human composting,” “water cremation,” and the idea that after death a person continues to “give life” by becoming soil, fertilizer, or environmental contribution.
The language used is deeply revealing:
- “Through death, life begets life”
- “She can in her passing help give life to something else”
- “Returning to earth”
- “Transformation into soil”
- “Keep some liquid for houseplants”
This sounds harmless, ecological, and compassionate—but beneath it lies an ancient pagan philosophy that undermines the everlasting gospel and opens the door for spiritualism.
This is not merely about burial methods.
This is about the doctrine of man, the state of the dead, and the first lie Satan ever told humanity.
THE FIRST GREAT DECEPTION
“YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE”
From The Great Controversy chapter The First Great Deception, Ellen G. White writes:
“The only one who promised Adam life in disobedience was the great deceiver. And the declaration of the serpent to Eve in Eden—‘Ye shall not surely die’—was the first sermon ever preached upon the immortality of the soul.”
This is the foundation of paganism, Rome, Babylon, and modern spiritualism.
God said:
In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 2:17
Satan said:
Ye shall not surely die.
Genesis 3:4
The world still believes Satan.
Modern funeral philosophies simply dress this lie in scientific clothing.
Now it is called:
- human composting
- energy transformation
- cosmic continuation
- ancestor consciousness
- environmental afterlife
But the doctrine is the same:
“You do not really die.”
WHAT DOES SCRIPTURE TEACH?
THE DEAD KNOW NOT ANYTHING
The dead know not anything.
Ecclesiastes 9:5
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
Psalm 146:4
There is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
The Bible never teaches conscious spirits floating around helping trees, guiding relatives, or blessing gardens.
The dead sleep.
Jesus said of Lazarus:
Our friend Lazarus sleepeth.
John 11:11
Not alive in another form.
Not communicating through nature.
Not watching family from heaven.
Sleeping until resurrection.
CAN THE DEAD SPEAK TO US?
From The Great Controversy chapter Can Our Dead Speak to Us?
Ellen White warns:
“Spiritualism teaches ‘that man is the creature of progression; that it is his destiny from his birth to progress, even to eternity, toward the Godhead.’”
This is exactly what modern death philosophies teach.
Not judgment.
Not resurrection.
Not accountability.
But continuation.
Evolution after death.
Environmental divinity.
This is paganism baptized.
PAGAN ORIGIN OF THESE TEACHINGS
Ancient Egypt taught the immortal soul.
Babylon taught communication with the dead.
Greece taught spirit survival after death.
Rome preserved and spread these doctrines.
The Papacy inherited them.
Modern Protestantism embraced them.
Now secular climate religion repackages them.
Babylon’s wine is still intoxicating nations.
Revelation 18:3
“All nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication…”
Even death itself is now marketed through Babylon.

“Man possesses no immortality by nature.”

“The dead are unconscious until the resurrection.”

“Spiritualism is one of Satan’s masterpiece delusions.”
The pioneers understood:
False doctrine on death prepares the world for Satan’s final deception.
WHY THIS MATTERS NOW
The Great Controversy teaches that before Christ returns, Satan will impersonate the dead and even appear as Christ Himself.
If people believe the dead live, they will accept demons as departed loved ones.
That is the final trap.
Today:
“Grandma is now in the flowers.”
Tomorrow:
“Grandma appeared and gave a message.”
Next:
A shining being appears claiming to be Christ.
And the world is deceived.
This is why the doctrine matters.
This is not theology only.
It is preparation for the mark of the beast crisis.
INANIMATE OBJECTS ARE NOT BRETHREN
Dust is not your brother.
Trees are not your ancestors.
Soil is not salvation.
Human remains are not spiritual channels.
Nature is God’s creation—not our afterlife.
The gospel is not:
“Become compost.”
The gospel is:
RESURRECTION THROUGH CHRIST
I am the resurrection, and the life.
John 11:25
Our hope is not decomposition.
Our hope is resurrection.
Not becoming fertilizer—
but receiving glorified bodies at Christ’s second coming.

FINAL WATCHMAN WARNING
Green burial itself is not the issue.
Simplicity in burial is biblical.
But attaching spiritual meaning to decomposition is dangerous.
When climate religion replaces resurrection faith, spiritualism enters.
When environmental mysticism replaces the gospel, Babylon advances.
When people seek comfort from the dead instead of Christ, Satan triumphs.
The issue is doctrine.
The issue is truth.
The issue is whom you believe:
God—or the serpent.

Reject pagan death doctrines.
Reject Rome’s wine.
Reject spiritualism.
Stand on the plain:
“The dead know not anything.”
Wait for the blessed hope:
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
Not compost.
Not spirits.
Not Babylon.
But Christ alone.
