“AMERICA, REMEMBER FROM WHENCE THOU ART FALLEN”
If I stood before the Congress of the United States today, I would not first speak politics—I would speak prophecy.
I would not begin with party lines—I would begin with the everlasting covenant.
I would not ask, “Who controls the House?”
I would ask, “Who controls the conscience?”
Because prophecy reveals that nations do not collapse first economically—they collapse morally.
Babylon fell morally before she fell politically.
Rome fell spiritually before she fell militarily.
Ancient Israel fell covenantally before she fell nationally.
And America stands at the same prophetic crossroads.
ADDRESS TO CONGRESS
Honorable Senators, Representatives, and Leaders of America—
Your fathers warned you.
Not merely political fathers—but founding fathers.
They understood that liberty without virtue becomes anarchy.
Power without morality becomes tyranny.
Law without God becomes oppression.
And prophecy without repentance becomes judgment.
Today America is rich, armed, technologically exalted—yet spiritually bankrupt.
Revelation 13 saw this.
A lamb-like nation speaking as a dragon.
A republic becoming a persecutor.
Freedom becoming enforcement.
Liberty becoming legislation of conscience.
This is not politics.
This is prophecy.
THE FAITH OF THY FATHERS
1. George Washington (1789)
“It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”
(Attributed widely to Washington; reflects his repeated emphasis on Providence and national morality)
Also in his 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation:
“It is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God…”
PROPHETIC CONTRAST
Today:
God is removed from public life.
Prayer is mocked.
Biblical morality is legislated against.
The nation seeks blessings without obedience.
Ancient Israel did the same.
2. John Adams (1798)
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
PROPHETIC CONTRAST
Today:
Entertainment replaces morality.
Corruption replaces virtue.
Pleasure replaces principle.
Law cannot save a people whose conscience is dead.
Rome proved this.
Babylon proved this.
America is proving it.
3. Patrick Henry (1799)
“Righteousness alone can exalt [America] as a nation…”
And famously (1775):
“Give me liberty or give me death!”
PROPHETIC CONTRAST
Today:
People surrender liberty for convenience.
Truth for comfort.
Conscience for compliance.
Prophecy warns that final worship enforcement will come through fear and economic pressure (Revelation 13:16–17).
BIBLE PROPHECY SCRUTINY
Revelation 13 — The Lamb Speaks Like a Dragon
Revelation 13:11
America began lamb-like:
- civil liberty
- religious liberty
- constitutional restraint
But prophecy says:
“he spake as a dragon”
Meaning:
- coercion replaces liberty
- religious enforcement replaces freedom
- church-state union returns
This is not theory.
It is prophetic certainty.
Ellen G. White warned in The Great Controversy:
“When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power…”
Then national apostasy leads to national ruin.
Congress must understand:
Sunday legislation is not merely legal policy.
It is prophetic rebellion.
False worship enforced by law.

DANIEL’S WARNING
Daniel 5 — Belshazzar’s Feast
Babylon held a feast while judgment stood at the door.
Today:
Congress debates while heaven records.
Wall Street rises while morality falls.
Celebration continues while probation closes.
Then came:
“MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN”
You are weighed.
America is being weighed.
Congress is being weighed.
Churches are being weighed.
Homes are being weighed.
Souls are being weighed.
WHAT I WOULD TELL CONGRESS
Repent.
Not perform religion.
Repent.
Not ceremonial prayer breakfasts.
Repent.
Not patriotic Christianity.
Repentance.
National repentance.
Return to God—not merely to tradition.
Return to Scripture—not merely to slogans.
Return to conscience—not merely to courts.
Because judgment begins at the house of God.
Then it reaches the nation.
FINAL APPEAL TO AMERICA
You cannot save the Constitution by ignoring the Commandments.
You cannot preserve liberty by rejecting truth.
You cannot escape prophecy by denying prophecy.
The issue is worship.
Always worship.
Babylon was worship.
Rome was worship.
The final crisis is worship.
And Congress will help decide which side history—and prophecy—will remember.

Not Congress alone.
Not presidents alone.
The people.
Because revival never begins in Washington.
It begins in repentance.
