I saw the rapidity with which this delusion was spreading. A train of cars was shown me, going with the speed of lightning. The angel bade me look carefully. I fixed my eyes upon the train. It seemed that the whole world was on board. Then he showed me the conductor, a fair, stately person, whom all the passengers looked up to and reverenced. I was perplexed and asked my attending angel who it was. He said, “It is Satan. He is the conductor, in the form of an angel of light. He has taken the world captive. They are given over to strong delusions, to believe a lie that they may be damned. His agent, the highest in order next to him, is the engineer, and others of his agents are employed in different offices as he may need them, and they are all going with lightning speed to perdition.”
I asked the angel if there were none left. He bade me look in the opposite direction, and I saw a little company traveling a narrow pathway. All seemed to be firmly united by the truth. This little company looked careworn, as if they had passed through severe trials and conflicts. And it appeared as if the sun had just arisen from behind a cloud and shone upon their countenances, causing them to look triumphant as if their victories were nearly won.

The children of these generation are wiser in their own conceit and forgotten the power of scriptures warning of the Papacy driving the world. A Florida school bus driver has been accused of driving 40 students while intoxicated.
Authorities said in a statement that the driver was four times over the legal limit upon his arrest.
“This drunk thought it was okay to endanger 40 children,” Sheriff Rick Staly said.
A Florida school bus driver was arrested Wednesday following accusations that he was drunk on the job, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Tests revealed that Mark McNeil was accused of being four times over the legal limit of blood alcohol content when he was arrested by police officers.
According to the sheriff’s office, McNeil showed up to work for his afternoon shift when a colleague reported to their supervisors that he smelt of alcohol. Police said McNeil took the wrong bus where he picked up 40 middle school students and began to drop them off at their designated bus stops.
School transport officials tried to contact McNeil by radio but he ignored them. Shortly after, he allegedly used the radio to contact district officials and tell them he was having a “medical emergency,” per authorities.
When found by his supervisor, authorities said McNeil “fell to the ground complaining he couldn’t breathe.” During that time, he attempted to flee from deputies who arrived on the scene and was subsequently arrested.
“This drunk thought it was okay to endanger 40 children and other drivers by driving a loaded school bus significantly impaired,” Sheriff Rick Staly said.
Staly added that “thankfully no one was hurt.”
McNeil was arrested on counts of driving under the influence of alcohol with passengers under the age of 18, resisting an officer without violence, and child neglect.
The US has faced a shortage of school bus drivers in recent months. In January, an Iowa school district canceled classes because it couldn’t find enough bus drivers. The shortage would have meant delays in pickups and students waiting outside “in extreme cold weather” for buses.

By their acceptance of a spurious sabbath, men have dishonoured God, and have honoured the usurper, who thought to changed times and laws. Many dangerous errors have been brought in to get rid of the true Sabbath. Men have taken the side of the great rebel, and rather than accept the word of God just as it reads, have placed themselves in a net of heresy. Satan is bringing the churches and the world into corrupt harmony upon this point.
Night, dark and portentous, is enclosing the Christian world. Apostasy from God’s commandments is evidence of this night, deep, dark, and apparently impenetrable. Systems that make the truth of God of none effect are cherished. Men are teaching for doctrine the commandments of men; and their assertions are taken as truth. The people have received man-made theories. So the gospel is perverted, and the Scripture misapplied. As in the days of Christ, the light of truth is pushed into the back-ground. Men’s theories and suppositions are honoured before the word of the Lord God of hosts. The truth is counteracted by error. The word of God is wrested, divided, and distorted by higher criticism. Jesus is acknowledged, only to be betrayed by a kiss. Apostasy exists, and will enclose the world till the last. Its hideous character and darkening influence will be seen in the maddening draughts dealt out from Babylon.
